Counselling

Cat provides compassion and understanding in a safe counselling space, in which clients can unpack the challenges they may be facing and begin to work toward their goals.

If you're not a fan of sit down and talk therapy, then you're in luck. Cat is ADHD and completely on board with doing some hands on fun activities/projects in the studio to help boost the dopamine and engage clients in therapy.

With a relaxed personality, Cat draws upon a vast range of lived experience to quickly build a strong rapport and help her clients feel comfortable, heard, and respected. Cat practices from her studio in Kyneton. The studio is a relaxed, industrial style space which is set up to take talk therapy to a whole new and innovative level whilst providing comfort and privacy for kids, teens, and adults. Cat encourages her clients to get hands on by offering a range of creative activities to complete together whilst engaging in talk therapy. This innovative therapy technique is a great way to engage with teens who may have difficulty opening up to a therapist.

With a candid yet empathetic approach, Cat uses various therapeutic techniques such as ACA, CBT, and Schema Therapy, and specialises in working with:
- Neurodivergent kids and teens
- Neurodivergent adults
- Parents of neurodivergent kids and teens
- Expectant parents/birth and parenting preparation
- Parents who have experienced birth trauma
- Parents who need additional post partum support
- Those who experience chronic disorganisation, hoarding behaviours, household clutter, and difficulty decluttering

Cat holds a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma of Counselling.
